Get It Girl

Just do it right.. no excuses? Today I am talking about the on going battle of getting on a workout routine and then stopping, hopping back on and so on. Sometimes its hard with such a busy lifestyle to keep on track with a workout out routine. I always think about how happy I am when I work out and eat right to get me motivation to never stop. In the last 5 years I have gotten into running and have ran over 10 half marathons however it never makes me feel "in shape". Its something about lifting and doing strength training that makes me feel the best! Well what makes me even more motivated to work out is cute work out clothes right? It might sound crazy to some people because you are just sweating in them but the first thing I do when I start my workout binges is buy new work out clothes. Nike tennis shoes are the only things I will wear on my "dress down" days what I like to call them but for running I have to wear Brooks. They just fit my feet right and make a long run so much easier. I wanted to share with you today some of my favorite workout leggings and shoes! I love love these leggings I am wearing they are perfect to run in as they don't slip down and they hit in all the right places! Sometimes I am lucky and I can find this brand at Tj maxx or marshalls for like 20 bucks! Those are the days I feel like I won the lottery! You can also buy them online. They are so reasonable and they last forever! I love the colors they come in as well. Link below to shop!I don't follow one specific work out routine but running and a good arm and kettlebell routine have to be included. The worst for me is core training... I would do anything but do a sit up :). I would love to hear about your workout routines and clothing you wear! Now just go do it!

I found these protein balls on Pinterest one day and I love them! They are so easy to make and they taste so good. They male about 20 balls. (Recipe/Picture from

1 cup dry oatmeal
2/3 cup toasted coconut flakes (Trader Joes)
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup ground flax seeds
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
1/2 cup agave nectar (Trader Joes has a great one!)
1 Tablespoon chia seeds
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Mix all ingredients and place into a bowl in the refrigerator, then after they chill for an hour roll them into balls and enjoy!
